During your mommy makeover consultation, your cosmetic surgeon will discuss your medical history with you and perform a physical exam. Based on his or her findings, your cosmetic surgeon might recommend an overnight stay after an extensive procedure like a mommy makeover.
This could be because you have a family history of certain medical concerns or because you are at a greater risk of complications than the average person. Either way, remember that your cosmetic surgeon wants you to have a safe and successful procedure.
3. The Risk of Complications
Your cosmetic surgeon will assess your overall risk of complications during and directly after your mommy makeover to decide if an overnight stay might be best.
