Different Areas Hold Fillers Longer

You may have heard the claim that one type of injectable filler lasts ages, while another fades away fast. While it is true that some fillers last longer than others, where the filler is placed in your face can also impact how long your results might last. JUVÉDERM® Ultra and Ultra Plus
These two injectables are generally used around the nasolabial folds and other deep wrinkles. They are among the most common forms of injectables used. In general, these fillers last around 9 to 12 months.
JUVÉDERM Volbella
The Volbella formulation of JUVÉDERM is designed to be used to plump up your lips and remove fine lines around your mouth. Some people choose this type of filler specifically for fuller lips, while others want a more conservative approach to address signs of skin aging. The lifespan of these fillers is usually around 6 to 12 months.
JUVÉDERMVoluma
This JUVÉDERM formulation is designed to treat more profound signs of aging. Specifically, it is meant to replace lost volume in the cheeks. Compared to some other injectables, it has a lot of staying power, with the fillers remaining for as long as two years.
Sculptra®
This filler is meant to be a solution to signs of aging, even when they are not profound. It is also formulated to have significant staying power. Like JUVÉDERM Voluma, this filler can maintain results for as long as 2 years.
Sculptra, however, is not a type of hyaluronic acid filler, so it cannot be dissolved before it wears off naturally.
How to Make Fillers Last Longer
How long fillers will last is largely dependent on the type of filler use and the way your body reacts to it. However, there are a few things you can do to maximize the results of your skin rejuvenation. Some tricks to keep in mind include:
