BOTOX® Cosmetic

Is it Time for Your Touch Up?

BOTOX

BOTOX The problem with remembering it’s time for your BOTOX® Cosmetic touch-up is the same problem we have with noticing aging in the first place: it happens so gradually, it just sneaks right under the radar. That’s why I suggest to my patients here in Denver that BOTOX® touch-ups should be scheduled regularly just like cleanings at the dentist or trims at the hair salon. That way, you’ll be able to seamlessly maintain the young look BOTOX® brings to your face.

Not a Permanent Solution

BOTOX® Cosmetic is not a permanent solution for wrinkles. The effect of the injection eventually wears off, and the wrinkles return. Although this happens very slowly, over a period of several months, it does happen, and it is simply a part of the process. For first-time patients, I suggest an immediate touch-up regimen, so your next appointment is scheduled even as you’re leaving the clinic following your very first injection of BOTOX®. Denver locals are busy and active, and it’s so easy to forget to make that call. We can set it up for you ahead of time so you never need to worry about missing your follow-up treatments.

BOTOX® Alternatives

As time passes, you may find that you’re looking to treat wrinkles beyond those BOTOX® can address. For deeper lines on the lower portion of the face and loss of facial volume, an injectable filler like JUVÉDERM® might do the trick. For very fine lines, or to correct visible sun damage and age spots, laser resurfacing or a chemical peel can really work wonders. Call us today to discuss your options.
