Injectable Fillers

Comparing the Top HA Fillers

Patients love HA fillers because they’re minimally invasive, affordable and give amazing results. HA fillers contain hyaluronic acid, a part of the skin’s natural support structure naturally depletes as part of the aging process. But with so many fillers to choose from, how do you know which one is right for you?

BELOTERO BALANCE®

BELOTERO BALANCE® is a relatively new HA filler used to restore lost volume and fill in facial lines and wrinkles. It has unique properties that cause it to adapt exceptionally well with surrounding skin tissue, giving you a softer, smoother appearance. BELOTERO® is very versatile and can handle deep folds and wrinkles as well as the finest facial lines.

JUVÉDERM®

JUVÉDERM® contains the highest concentration of hyaluronic acid among HA dermal fillers, so it typically delivers longer-lasting results. The high HA levels deliver nutrients to the skin, improve skin hydration and provide natural cushioning. For these reasons, JUVÉDERM® flows easily and mimics natural skin tissue behavior, delivering lovely, natural-looking enhancement. JUVÉDERM® is perfect for use in deep nasolabial folds and for creating volume in the lips.

Restylane®

Like with other dermal fillers, the HA in Restylane® helps restore resiliency and fullness that is lost with age. More cohesive than JUVÉDERM, Restylane® beautifully restores volume to the lips and fills in moderate to severe folds and wrinkles. For patients with acne scars, Restylane® is a popular choice because of its ability to fill in those scars and blend them into the skin.

Perlane®

Perlane® is very similar to Restylane® but has a thicker, firmer consistency that causes it to move less and dissolve more slowly in the body. Typically, patients choosing Perlane® can usually expect the results to last a bit longer then Restylane®.
